A little about me: Before completing my bachelor's degree from Plymouth State University I was able to land a job as a Jr. Designer for Square360.com. I booked up freelance jobs with my company Brown Fox Designs. I was able to design for Good Karma Cafe and Whims & Whatnots gift shop in Rye (monthly ads in Rye Magazine!). I decided in the midst of all the work to stop the 2 year break I took in my education and go back to finish my degree. I completed my final semester in Italy where I was single handedly chosen for a photography exhibition in a local restaurant as well as a magazine cover. Upon returning home I landed a job with The Element Group helping them with Environmental Graphics. In knowledge of the positions ending I was then hired by Whole Foods Market where I managed the look of 3 different locations in Boston maintaining their new brand standards while incorporating my own creative flare. Unfortunately, the company issued lay-offs giving all designers 6 months to relocate or find a new job. I was devastated as I felt this job suited me so well. I was lucky enough to find a job designing packaging and textiles for Home Fashion Distributors. I get to see all of my products in big box stores such as TJMaxx, Marshalls, Homegoods, BJ’s, Kohls, Walmart & more. They are also featured in the companies showroom on 5th Ave in NYC. I was then hired as an in-house graphic designer/product development position with Village Candle. Ultimately, I would love to find a career that combines my passion for holistic health/food, travel and psychology with my passion for design.
