In the US, I was an editor and writer for the Christian Science Monitor for 12 years, worked as a producer and Sunday editor for the Boston Globe, and was NPR's first full-time blogger. I'm a former executive director of the Online News Association in the U.S., and I was a Nieman fellow at Harvard in 1991-92. I'm currently a member of the Nieman's Advisory Board.
