I am a professional writer and editor, and I completed some editing and proofreading courses at Simon Fraser University. I currently work part-time as an administrative assistant at an engineering firm, where I do a lot of technical writing including proposals, letters, and legal reports. I also proofread other employees' work before it is sent to the client. I have been doing this for nearly a year now. In the past, I have held editorial internships with Canada Wide Media and ethicalDeal. In addition, I have been teaching English as a second language for 9 years, and I regularly encounter and edit numerous grammatical and structural errors in my students' writing.
