A top graduate with a BFA in screenwriting from Cal State Northridge (one of the top 3 for Cinema, Television, Arts in Southern California). She has studied with the best of teachers, all who have been working writers for the studios and independently. Her former professor, Eric Edson, has a best-selling book out, entitled, The Story Solution: 23 Actions All Great Heroes Must Take, which has been endorsed by some of Hollywood’s most creme de la creme. She has gained honors in competitions like Sundance Table Read Screenplay and The Bluecat Screenplay Competition and has worked as a script coverage reader for FR Productions (Academy Award Winner Fred Roos – Godfather 2), Colleen Camp Productions (prior 1st Lady of Paramount – Knock Knock), Mosaic (Jimmy Miller’s company – The Other Guys), and Atlas Entertainment (Chuck Roven’s company – The Dark Knight). Along with her extensive training, she has been a member of The Actor’s Gym, founded by Oscar winning screenwriter, Bobby Moresco, (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), an exclusive workshop for professional screenwriters and actors. Her diverse experience and knowledge along with her schooling, comes from the many screenplays she has read over the years, doing coverage for various companies of caliber in Hollywood. She has written material in various forms, from film/television, novels, blogs to articles. With various projects in development, she has been a work-for-hire, optioned material, and has consulted on various projects. Ms. Kadem has been endorsed as a script consultant by Academy Award and Emmy Nominated industry.
