As a former English teacher and current SAT tutor, I have acquired strong proofreading and editing skills, mastering grammar rules we don't learn in the classroom these days. While earning a Masters in English I was awarded the winning essay at the New Jersey College English Association Annual Spring Conference in 2008. Effectively stringing sentences and paragraphs together is my expertise and passion. My writing background can be helpful on both the structural and the creative level. Writing has been my area of focus for the last twenty years, and I believe I have developed an eye for what works, whether economizing and paring down a piece, or lingering around in certain areas of the text and adding to the goodness of the paragraph or sentence.
