My resume

  • Writing
  • Editing
  • Article writing
  • Journalist
  • Academic writing

I am a retired professor of anthropology from Cornell University (28 years there) and an experienced science journalist. I have vast experience writing newspaper and magazine articles, books (feel free to look me up on Amazon), as well as decades of editing student papers. I am comfortable with both academic writing as well as writing for the popular press, including websites. For example, I wrote a weekly column for LiveSciece.com. My science journalism experience was often outside the filed of anthropology so I am comfortable learing new ares and writing about them. Editing is just normal life to me. I have also helped writers organize their thoughts or their chapters before setting pen to paper (or fingers to keys). I can also help a writer get back on track if they are unable to move forward.
