Hello, My name is Liz, I live in West Philadelphia, and I would love to be your happy helper! A variety of jobs within the Customer Service and restaurant industry has made me into the hard-working, organized and positive person I am today. I currently work occasional gigs through the pet care app called Rover and teach yoga part time. I am looking for other suitable gigs here in Philadelphia. From my resume, you will notice I have worked in various positions with varying skills needed. As a Welcome Center Assistant, I have maintained positive client relationships and kept the shop organized. As a professional dog walker and animal shelter voluntter, I have responsibly house and pet sat for extended periods of time, worked with animals with behavioral issues, and administered medicine to pets in need. As a Housekeeper, I have maintained the cleanliness of a six bedroom historical bed and breakfast independently. I have adept knowledge of cleaning supplies and effective cleaning techniques. As a Cook, Baker and Prep Chef I have managed many details at once and kept positive under pressure. I am also willing to cook or bake, even if it's a recipe I don't recognize! As a yoga instructor, I help students gain confidence and practice self care in order to be aware and helpful to anyone in need. A little bit more about who I am.... I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Anthropology from SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, NY in 2012. I loved the challenge of school and graduated with Honors and a 3.75 GPA. During college, I studied abroad in New Zealand. Through travel, I have become even more open and compassionate towards all cultures and people. I am an advocate for indigenous rights. After college, I traveled to Colorado where I interned on a farm and received my yoga teacher trainings. I ended up moving to Philadelphia in order to expand my opportunities, and to be closer to my family. These diverse experiences have each been amazing and eye-opening in their own ways. My travels prove my ability to jump into any situation with courage and adaptability. My work experience proves that I am organized, focused and knowledgable. Currently, I am interested in Pet Care because I am considering getting trained in animal behavior or veterinary health. I am also interested in cleaning/housekeeping positions. Plenty of references available upon request. Feel free to contact me if I sound like the right fit for your needs. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you, Liz
