I am a 29 year-old environmental enthusiast with a passion for writing. I have worked as a server, bartender, uber driver, teacher, and now hopefully whatever it is that you're looking for. I consider myself a "multipotentialite," which according to a Ted talks I saw once, is someone with many interests and creative pursuits. I went to school and got my B.A. in communications, in the hopes of landing a job as a copywriter for a cool advertising agency. Although I'm still on that journey now, it's made me realize that I could do anything I set my mind to. Plus, at the end of the day, it's what fulfills you emotionally, not monetarily. So I've switched my focus from looking for a job with a "cool" advertising agency, to looking for a job with a company or organization that actually does cool things, like stand up for clean water, fight for social equality, and support local food and small businesses. I want to make a difference in the world, but it starts with me. Where I work, what I do, what I eat...it's all connected. I want to work for someone who believes that too!
