I am an enrolled agent (EA) – a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels—examination, collection, and appeals—of the Internal Revenue Service. Only enrolled agents are required to demonstrate to the IRS their competence in all areas of taxation, representation and ethics before they are given unlimited representation rights before IRS. Unlike attorneys and certified public accountants, who are state licensed and who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all enrolled agents specialize in taxation. My desire upon starting Kraig Klinke Taxpayer Advocate Services was to develop a firm which lived out the "Golden Rule" in serving others and the community. We offer complete IRS and State Tax agency representation Personally or on behalf of your Business. We will manage, negotiate and settle any claims, audits, payments, or debt you may have against the Internal Revenue Service. We also work with nonprofits. Nonprofit accounting is unique. Accounting in this sector requires specialized knowledge. There are nuances to maintaining a tax exempt status, accurately recording and tracking grant monies, and establishing best practices, etc. To initiate and maintain these nuances requires specialized knowledge and experience of financial, accounting and bookkeeping needs in the nonprofit sector. We take care of the financial and regulatory details so nonprofits can stay focused on their missions. We believe there is no higher value that an organization can deliver than helping to make the world a better place.
