I have been working in the media industry for ten years in numerous areas of print and TV production. I am an accomplished and published writer with an M.A. in Media Studies and a B.A. in Journalism. My professional career began as a proofreader for Archie Comics Entertainment. I soon worked my way up to Production Manager, where I was responsible for copy production and ad operations. While there, I also wrote for various online and print publications as a freelance writer. I then switched gears to television: directing, producing, casting and project managing for several successful TV production studios as a freelance producer. I have worked on hit shows for such major networks as TLC, National Geographic, Discovery, Food Network and Biography Channel. I have produced and directed music videos that have aired on Music Choice Television, Comcast on Demand, hundreds of websites, as well as screened in film festivals across the country. I returned to publishing three years ago as a professional writer for numerous websites and print publications, and published my first novel in May of 2016. I also am a media consultant for law and medical schools, assisting them in creating engaging digital lectures.
