5/2016 – 10/2016 Street Performance Monitor (seasonal), Cambridge Arts Council: Monitored street performers in Harvard Square for compliance with the City’s Street Performance Ordinance (Chapter 12 Section 12.16.170). Worked independently checking permit status, reading volume levels, mediating disputes between performers, liaising with businesses and the public regarding the ordinance and developing a relationship with performers in order to foster a positive working relationship on behalf of the City. 8/2000 - 8/2013 Coordinator, MIT Communications Forum: Coordinated and promoted a speaking series that addresses all aspects of communications; performed communications and conference-planning work for MIT’s Program in Comparative Media Studies (CMS); edited materials for the Communications Forum website and for various print and online materials for both CMS and the Communications Forum.
