I am a detail oriented team player, embrace any challenge, with a background in management and various hospitality positions. I chose to move from Boston to DC to work as a part-time event planner and staff trainer for a restaurant, and also held a part-time catering and serving job at the Treasury Department. I have been bartending for over 8 years and currently run events for an event space in downtown, but like to fill my spare days working events and bartending opportunities. I have traveled all over the world independently including countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, France, Austria, Amsterdam, Italy, I lived in England for five years and in Prague on and off for several years. I feel that I possess the energetic, yet organized attitude that employers look for. I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. With the skills I learned in this program, and the experiences I have had in my various hospitality and event roles for over 12 years, I know I can perform very well in any environment. When given the chance I have exceeded expectations in a variety of situations.
