pFor 30 years, I have enhanced the educational experience of elementary aged students. I have taught levels TK-5 and am familiar with the CA state standards and curriculum. I pride myself in the ability to practice a variety of strategies and differentiate what methods work for individuals to meet their academic goals. Tutoring sessions in your home or a public place, such as a library, are made interesting, enjoyable, fun, hands-on and effective. I am patient, nurturing and professional. I am the mother of a special needs child and have volunteered in various organizations to promote their development, support families and offer resources for a more fulfilling life for those with disabilities. Working with special education students has provided me with a wider range of ideas for lesson plans, to suit the discrepancy that occurs within this population and regular education. My hobbies include athletics, reading and writing literature and constant learning to further improve quality of life for me and those I am able to reach out to for a lifetime love of learning
