Growing up, my passion for journaling, poetry and letters were all incredibly strong, however I didn't consider writing as a possible career choice. As the years progressed, my interests sort of aligned with writing. Then I got involved with a couple workshops such as, "Youth Speaks" and "The Asian American Writers Workshop," which have all proven to be beneficial to me and my craft. One of my favorite things to do back when I was a teenager/young adult was performing my pieces at the "Bowery Poetry Club" and the "Nuyorican Poets Cafe." Anyway, as my skill continued to develop, so did my interests ranging from healthy living, law, politics, performing arts, media, culinary arts, photography, hair and beauty, advocacy, community development, travel, literature, outdoor activities, nature and space science. My imagination isn't limited as I allow myself to think freely and outside of the box. These interests all have that one thing in common, writing. It's lead me to study theatre, journalism, broadcasting along with media and technology management. I specialize in plays, scripts, poetry, news articles-print, t.v. and radio, ads, reviews, product and course descriptions, formal letters and most recently children's books. I'm a published poet and a part-time blogger. I've written news and entertainment articles for MTV Radio as an intern and while at Brooklyn45, I served as segment producer, writer and host. In addition to being a writer, I'm also a singer, actor, chef and photographer. I'm looking to make connections that will lead to further opportunities for career advancement and I look forward to working with you in the future.
