I graduated from Lesley University College of Art and Design in 2013 with a degree in Photography. I have gained the knowledge and skills relating to photography from taking classes that demonstrated not only the technical aspect of it but also the artistic. While pursuing my education, I also finished an internship in the Development Department of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. This helped broaden my knowledge on the job aspect of everything by applying what I had learned with taking professional photographs of events and patrons of the performances. Right after college, I was hired as a Supervisor for a photo tourism company named Photogenic Inc. I’ve been working there for three years and acquired skills through photographing tourists, handling money, opening and closing the offices, training new employees and working side by side with managers to ensure a great work environment. This has furthered my knowledge in photography and I have much more experience applying my knowledge in a formal business setting as well as understanding managerial duties.
