After spending many years in New York City as a musician and then as an audio recording engineer, I made the decision to close that door and open a new one. The music and recording industries were changing rapidly and the cost of living in Manhattan was out of control. In 1999, after a great deal of soul searching, I decided to move back to Long Island, close to where I grew up, to begin the next chapter of my life. Who would have thought that the next chapter, and my new adventure, was going to be as a photographer? I started with a simple camera and began shooting anything and everything, soon realizing that my greatest enjoyment was coming from photographing people. The more I shot, the more my photography started moving in the direction of portraiture, fashion and beauty. Today, the thing that brings me the greatest joy is photographing people and having them look and feel great.
