I am a retired web developer who has worked in the publishing field since the 1970s. I started in a career as a typesetter and apprenticed in the now forgotten "hot metal" era. I advanced through photo composition and witnessed the end of the trade when the personal computer and publishing software made their way into small business. I changed my target and moved into web development in the late 90s when it seemed everyone had internet and it was growing by leaps and bounds. Today I continue to do web development, and writing content, with a special emphasis on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Having an inquisitive mind I have developed many hobbies over the years including fishing, boating, gardening, greenhouse growing, ham radio, computers, woodworking, home improvement, backyard living, stained glass and more. Right now I'm looking to see what this humans.net is all about and if I can make any money here doing something ... we'll see just what. --Robert
