With a distinctly nomadic aesthetic informed by moving over 14 times in his first 14 years of life, Maverick Inman's work is equal parts sleek and erratic. Currently in his 13th year of residency in New York City, his photographs capture both the energy and grit of the international community he calls home. After establishing a career in the 2000s by shooting live local bands around the Lower East Side and Brooklyn, Maverick moved on to cover artists ranging from A$AP Rocky to Skrillex to the Wu-Tang Clan.. Additionally, he has shot campaigns for Vibe Magazine and UrbanDaddy, had his images highlighted by Billboard, BlackBook, The Alternative Press, Mass Appeal, Vanity Fair, Harlem World Magazine and been featured in print by Elektro Daily and HYPEBEAST. He is also experienced in shooting portraiture and headshots. Maverick currently resides in Harlem where he has a home photo studio, owns a small number of succulents and alternate-side parks his 16 passenger van twice weekly.
