I am currently working as a freelance stenographer and editor and as an Associate Editor for Rawckus Magazine. I recently launched my website, House of Simatos Creative Group, which provides clients with photography, content development, and social media management services. My passions include photography, music business, teaching, editing, and writing. I am an idea woman and am constantly thinking, planning, and creating. In the past I worked in business operations for School of Rock Springfield and School of Rock West Broward, as a Teaching Assistant for the University of Miami, a Creative Intern for Reservoir Media Management, and as PR/Writer Intern for the Frost School of Music. I have lived and traveled the United States extensively, and have spent a total of a year of my life living overseas.
I am a dedicated, creative, and intuitive young freelancer eager to produce high-quality work for various clients. I have held a number of professional positions and possess over seven years of administration experience (remote work included), three years of business operations experience, five years of editing and tutoring writing to students specifically with English as a second language, and ten years of teaching music. My multiple passions and interests have made me a sort of jack of all trades and allow me to approach my work from a unique perspective. In addition to my professional ventures, I hold a master's degree in Music Business & Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami and a bachelor's degree in Music Industry & Music Journalism from Missouri State University.
