Hi there! I am an experienced writer with an undergrad degree in Latin American Literature from UC Berkeley, and a MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts. I am a strong writer with experience tutoring middle- and high-school students in English grammar, essay writing, literary criticism, and research papers. I can help your child learn vocabulary words while having fun, and can help him or her find a unique writing voice. I respect that each student has his or her own identity and there is not a one-size-fits all way of teaching. Once I meet your child, and we discuss goals as well as any struggles, we can come up with a plan that everyone is comfortable with. I am available in the early to late afternoons, and am flexible on location.
