I am a professional chef with 15+ years of experience. I have worked in a range of kitchens from classically French (Cafe Boulud) to vegetarian (Dirt Candy). I enjoy cooking with a mixture of styles and am familiar cooking for those with allergies. Although I am classically trained, I enjoy cooking with a range of flavors and influences. Moving to Queens from Ukraine twenty years ago opened my palate to flavors I had never had before. The markets in Flushing are some of my favorites to shop in, sourcing a range of chilies, herbs and spices to cook with (and seafood!). I love eating and cooking food that is flavorful, bright and nourishing.
