Hi my name is Joie. I am a native New Yorker and I am 29 years old. I started out studying social work, I have always had a passion for helping people. I have always had a vested interest and fascination with IT, as it was part of growing up and it was something that came very easy to me. People always asked me for input when buying new technologies, setting things up and just day to day technology tips. I love teaching people new things and explaining things that come easy to me. I hate to see people afraid of technology and especially the older generation that feels forced to adopt it because when they ask questions they are told "oh no you need the newest most expensive new thing". I love learning new things and being part of something new. Technology is constantly evolving and so am I! Around 2013 I decided to combine my love for helping people and my knack for technology. I am a firm believer that you can always be of help to someone, even if you may do it behind the scenes. Information Technology is a part of our daily lives and for some it can cause hair pulling and screaming and maybe a few tears. But that's where I come in. I have acquired valuable experience in all facets of troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance for various desktop operations, hardware, and software. I have had expert training from seasoned professionals and retain a CompTIA A+ certification. I possess a unique talent for explaining complex things and technology in terms and tones that make others comfortable and more confident. Furthermore, I am multi-task oriented, enjoy a challenge, and can take charge in a sizable and bustling climate. Thanks for listening!
