In my current position, I maintain an efficient and high-performing attitude while providing consumer technical support services for business and individual clients. I have a special skill for problem solving, and work well independently. I am assertive, organized and committed to quality. I am a self-started and excel at telephone support and customer service. I also am very knowledgeable in networking, hardware installation, and diverse PC systems. I have worked the last 6 months as an intern for Epichirtech managing and maintaining linux systems. I have patched and secured these systems as well. I have my Comptia A+ certification and I majored in Computer Information Systems at the University of Baltimore. I also worked as a computer technician for Thriftbooks Global. I set up hardware and installed and configured software for their warehouse computers. I have a knack for computers and I am very proficient in Microsoft servers. I have a strong knowledge for TCP/IP and network connectivity. I have created my own linux machine that I manage from my home. I am proficient in installing Apache, MYSQL, PHP. I have worked in customer service and sales for almost 7 years. I have worked for many retail/grocery stores such as Walmart, Food Lion, Giant, and Home Depot.
