I'm originally from North Carolina, but have been studying and working in New York City for almost a decade. I started out in business as a marketing coordinator and IT specialist working for a mid-sized equipment company, but eventually found myself wanting more. I soon moved to New York to pursue my career as an actor. Almost ten years later, I've developed a successful career through personal perseverance, dedication, and drive. I believe in entrepreneurial work; it has given me the freedom to pursue my dreams and reach my aspirations. I've continued what I learned in my university business school and my time as a marketing coordinator. I still promote and advertise and strategize; the only thing that has changed is that I am now the product. I believe this gives me a unique advantage in the world of business freelance. I can better see through the eyes of the individual when it comes to specific goals. As an actor I have an amazing talent at public speaking, breaking down information, research and development of ideas. I've continued to design and develop graphics for colleagues and my own film productions. I've also been a screenwriter for the past four years. This helps me in the realm of understanding a complete story, appealing to an audience and maintaining their interest, advising colleagues on grammatical nuances and functional properties, and more. I'm personable, understanding, and curious. I take an invested interest in everyone I meet. I've worked many years in the hospitality industry, which has prepared me for working with all types of people, from all walks of life; understanding their needs and not only fulfilling them, but exceeding their expectations. I bring a unique skill set to any project. Unlike many who have been a constant cog in the corporate business machine, I'm an out-of-the-box thinker; in touch with people on the ground floor.
