My resume
My background includes serving as a meteorologist in the United States Marine Corps. Most recently, I worked as the lead forecaster, where my responsibilities included providing forecast to pilots, daily 96 hour forecast to Armed Forces Pacific Region, issuing Warnings, Watches, and Advisories to all DOD and civilian installations, and being the lead customer service representative on my shift. Previously, I worked between being a meteorologist and a security forces personnel. In these positions, I demonstrated the ability to resolve a variety of issues and complaints (such as critical thinking, handling complaints of angry personnel and distraught DOD members, maintaining good order and discipline, and enhanced problem solving ). I consistently did my job to the best of my ability and maintaining a low error percentage on all meteorological assignments. No aircraft mishaps during my time. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable customer service skills, and I am able to work long hours despite my fatigue levels. I also bring to the table strong computer proficiencies in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint. I have taken college courses to improve my computer skills.
