My name is Batya Amd I was born and raised in New York. Raised in a large family with parents working in education was the catalyst for my quick interest in childcare and education. After completing high school in New York, I traveled abroad to continue my education. While abroad, I had the oppurtunity to be a live in nanny for a large family of 11 children - including a set of twins and an infant. My responsibilities with this family were significant. Waking as early as 5am to ensure all the kids were ready for school in time with breakfast and lunch prepared for them was how I began each day. After my day of full time studies, I would return home to start preparing dinner for the family. After dinner, I helped the children with their homework followed by their bed time routine. Some of my other responsibilities included light house keeping and running errands for the family such as grocery and clothing shopping. Over all, I had a great experience working with the family as they did with me. After my studying years, I returned to New York and started working in the fashion industry while babysitting part time. I am a very energetic, personable and reliable individual with great passion for proper childcare.
